Sadie Amara Calvano hails from America and is known for her role as actress Violet Plunkett, in CBS the sitcom Mom. A California resident, Calvano was initially interested in competitive gymnastics. However, she later decided to pursue a career as an actor. Her debut on screen was an episode from 2010 on CBS's 'NCIS. The biographical crime drama film J Edgar was her big screen debut one year later. She is now one of the most exciting actresses in recent years. In the 'NCIS' series, her performance has been nominated by the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance of a TV Series featuring the appearance of a guest Actress aged between 11 and 15 years old. Her role as a guest on the comedy series 'Kickin It' was nominated once more for an award called a Young Artist Award. Calvano had a significant role in "Mom" in the series in its first three seasons in addition to making several cameos in Season 4. The actress won the Gracie Allen Award in 2015 for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star because of her character in 'Mom'.
